Recently cleaning became popular in CIS, including Ukraine. It’s not a contribution into fashion; it’s a necessity, which is created by the rapid speed of goods market developing. Besides, the professional cleaning is necessary not only because for esthetic point of view, but also for the economic, because using of special technologies allow postponing the redecoration for a while. As Sergej Gutsaliuk, the manager of Uch-Cleaning, says, the Ukrainian cleaning customers are the companies from different fields of activity. The cleaning companies serve both the apartments and offices and car centers and entertaining complexes and industrial enterprises.

Let’s compare the advantages and disadvantages of ordering cleaning services of cleaning companies and independent cleaners.

Equipment for Industrial Cleaning

The specialists of industrial cleaning use the professional cleaning while working. The high-pressure machines are widely used for washing. These are mostly the machines of Karcher, Portotecnica, Kranzle, Soteco, etc.

Amongst the other specialized and multipurpose professional technique we may name the pumps, compressors, vacuum cleaners with a big tank capacity, different stairs and step-ladders, special suspension and insurance machines, lengthening nozzles and bars, different tools, etc.

Ukrainian Market of Cleaning Services

As Iryna Kladko, the marketing specialist of Shaden Group, states, for the last two years there’s a considerable increasing of demand for cleaning services. 4-5 years ago the cleaning companies should have convinced the customer in effectiveness and necessity of cleaning services and collaboration with cleaning company.

As Vladimir Kucherov, the general manager of Kiev-Berlin-Service, says, about 220-250 cleaning companies work in Ukraine. The majority of those are small and medium companies, and their experience can’t be called European. To make the cleaning company work effectively you have to do lots of investments into expensive professional technique (washing and sweeping machines, snow removers, vacuum cleaners etc.) and into professional tools, into cars for the teams, into the uniform. Besides, if the cleaning company needs to serve the big industrial enterprise, there should be lots of cleaning technique at the object, what leads to big expenses. Besides, the effectiveness of these companies work isn’t at a high level – they don’t have the necessary experience and skills, but they do have a staff fluidity.

However not everything is as bad at our native market. There’re big cleaning companies, which have both the job experience and qualified staff. They work according to the European standards. Despite of the big choice of the cleaning companies, the customer should carefully choose the company-executor. As Sergej Gutsaliuk, the general manager of Ukh-Cleaning, says, before making a choice, you need to negotiate about the price policy of the companies, professionalism of staff, chemicals, their safety and destination.
